I had to quit my job today because I finally had enough. It’s not a hard job, the managers are easy going and I like my colleagues but the job… :picard:

One of the most repetitive, monotonous jobs I’ve ever done. It’s basically doing the same stuff over and over and over again. You can basically switch your brain off and do it. We might as well be robots considering that’s how exactly it is.

Ive been here 4 months and it feels like 4yrs. I want a job that’s diverse, one where the day is filled with different tasks, where I get to think, etc. This job so t for me. I wanted to stay whilst looking for something else but the thought of coming back was just too much.

No but I’m contracted as an electrician in a machining factory where the employees do the exact same thing all day everyday at their stations. Some steps and what not and it seems to take some actual skill for some of them, but still just looks so boring and mind numbing. Couldn’t do it

I had a job like this a few years ago. It was basically folding envelopes. We had to fold tens of thousands of envelopes. It was the same job, same shyt for 8hrs a day. I lasted one week and I left one afternoon during lunch break and never came back.

I remember speaking to some of the people who there before me how long they had been there and some said 5yrs :mjtf: how had they not blown their heads off doing this shyt. I was broke and desperately needed money but my mental health was more important.
