How did you learn?

I purchased my Takedown bow, bought some aluminum arrows, watched youtube videos on operating the Takedown bow, Went out and learned through trial and error.
Eventually figured it out, got good, upgraded to Carbon fiber arrows, then started making my own Takedown CF arrows, then learned how to fletch arrows in the field and make arrowheads from rock and old metal cans.
Still practicing once a week to maintain my current level of accuracy and also extend my accuracy range to 33 yards. I can accurately nail targets up to 20 yards from a standing or kneeling position behind my ruck.

It's been 3 years since I started.

I just got rid of 3 targets last year. I don't go much anymore. Even though the bulk of my shooting was in my backyard. Did a couple hunts. Nothing to write home about. I liked the training more than actually going out with it if you have an archery club or something near by its worth it. A couple of brehs were into it but we never became friends like that.
