Anyone into live entertainment as a career?

I'm performer turned producer, mainly because the money is better. I perform all the time as a comedian but I also produce a lot of shows. Wondering if anyone else runs a company or is contracted in this world. I figured we should a legit thread for tips, questions, and random industry thoughts.

Right now I'm low level as a solo prop but in this next season I'm gonna be get a license in my state. I'm also upgrading lights and sound.

I also have been getting offers to be in the club world. It's not my bag but I understand a lot so it would be more $$$ and exp.
