Anyone know how to bypass the pin/pattern lock screen on older androids?

I was cleaning up today and found one of my older cheap phones in the closet. Its a galaxy j7 sky pro. I wanna see what I left on it but I can't remember the pattern lock I used.

If its android 4.4 or lower, u can try patterns until it gives u the option "forgot pattern" and it will ask for your google account and u can reset it then
