My GPA was horrendous, because all I did in undergrad is chase punani. I did well in the GMATs tho...
To be honest it was sooo bad I got kicked out of school,I grinded back and finished , years later I make 6 figures now, it’s never too late to get your life together and excel

I am in charge of admissions at a graduate school and Emmy reviewers look at all applications holistically. The big picture, not just the Gpa or Gre scores. Actually I just pulled the GRE requirement because of the disadvantage it places on students of color.

looking at doctorate programs now.. I always get the itch around graduation time.

Got into Georgia Tech's MBA program with a 2.7 in undergrad. I'm 8 years out though and did well on the GRE.

I don't remember my GPA in undergrad but it was underwhelming (like 2.4-2.5ish). I didn't know how to study and honestly wasn't very committed to education at the time. I didn't know what I wanted to do as a career until an internship senior year showed me I wanted to get into the pathology field. After graduation I ended up working and taking requisite science classes at community colleges and crushing those, before enrolling in a pre-med post bacc. program that I did pretty well in and got accepted into grad school.

The post bacc. program was crucial for me, its where I learned how to study and what is required from me to do well academically. I ended up getting my masters but that certificate from the post bacc. program is my most proud academic achievement. I went through alot of tough times and learned alot about myself to get that certificate. I'm gonna get it framed lol. I would recommend looking into possible postbacc. programs in a field your interested in to show that you're able to pull better grades.
