I've use just about everything and have pretty much settled in Logic Pro. Work flow fits how I like to work. I used to use it as a sound module and my MPC as the sequencer but now I'm pretty much all in Logic. Also some of the time stretch functions in logic 9 are crazy.

Word on the e-streets is that Logic Pro X is dropping soon and it will be a revamp like Final Cut Pro X was, should I just wait for that?

Depends, Logic Pro 9 is only 199 bucks n e way, it has awesome features already, you run the risk that they fukk everything up in 10 as well.

Also if you already own the previous version you can usually get the new version at a discount, but I haven't read up on 10 so IDK how the changes and updates are going to affect my work flow yet.

I'd say at 199 dollars Logic Pro 9 is an unheard of value
