Bought the web domain for BUFU back in early 2000 so it's any day now, but yeah.

One of my boys is a basketball / football trainer and has his clothing line. Mostly as living ADVERTISEMENT for his business. Gives them to kids for extra $5. It's a lil nice design and it works.

I hope this thread delivers. I’ve been thinking about designing lately. Also started back drawing to get my creative juices flowing. But don’t know where to start.

The industry for custom cleats is huge and always growing. That My Cause My Cleats initiative with the nfl and the players might be something to look into. Because whatever the pros do, it trickles down to all levels of the sport.
I remember some of my players wearing the pink stuff and didn’t even know it was for breast cancer awareness

The kirk to the fields
The thing I hate about some dudes' clothing lines is when they JUST slap their brand's logo on something....

Like you need some name recognition before you can throw a small ass generic logo on a white tee for $100

I wanna see cool unique designs and artwork. Or even a cool or funny phrase.

I don't fukk with you like that to be walking around with "Streetfly by Charles" in Times New Roman

I feel you
It’s a balance tho cause for streetwear if you have a good logo that’s all people really care about these days
Look at Anti Social Social Club
They was finessing their customers with overpriced Gildan sweatshirts and no one even cared
All about commanding hype these days, I really can’t think of a single popular brand that uses quality materials and focuses on aesthetic over branding

The thing with clothing lines is, if you can’t draw designs, make patterns, and sew, you need people to do that for you. And unless you have hours upon hours to sew, you have to pay a company to make the garments, and ship them to you.

Basically, you need a lot of money to have a clothing line other than t-shirts.

A lot of people will do the Ali-Express, and China made items, order one thing of each style. Shoot their own models in the clothes, and put their own label. That’s pretty much how you have all these online boutiques selling clothes for $20-$60 a piece. If you have to design, make a pattern, buy the fabric and findings (buttons, zippers, etc) and sew it, you’re charging much more.
