It's a pretty good game.Yes you need to read to enjoy it,sorry.Game is trash. I never played but seen the whole game on youtube. It's not a game it's a visual novel. Absolute garbage and I for the life of me can't understand the appeal. How is this considered a smash hit?
I went through and killed EveryoneI didn't play much. everyone got gassed cause you can go through the game not killing anyone. but ultimately it's not mechanically different from any other turn based game

I guess it appeals to older gamers or gamers who are fans of the old rpg game style.

Because it's a really smart game that plays with conventional design. You can't get the same feeling watching it and as opposed to actually playing. It's like Planescape Torment. And what's wrong with you bums and reading? It's nikkas like you that had Fallout go from amazing conversations to crappy dialogue wheels in FO4.
It's also a great game at making you feel bad for committing violence and makes you think about how violence is the "go-to" option in these games. It leverages its game mechanics to put you in certain head spaces.
it is interesting, but after you've been through a few encounters it just becomes a game of trial and error as you try to pick the dialogue options that give you the outcome you wantBecause it's a really smart game that plays with conventional design.
