Anyone remember the Justice League cartoon from the early 2000s?

:scust: at the idea of a WB Kids Justice League show. Reminds me of Static Shock. And I could never get into that show.

I’m obviously much happier with the more grown-up Cartoon Network version that we actually got and wouldn’t trade any of that for anything else. I’ve been re-watching some of JL and JLU recently and those shows could get brutal by the standards of kids’ TV. You’ve got Justice Lord Superman killing President Luthor and lobotomizing Doomsday, Hro Talek fukking up Green Lantern, Mongul kicking the shyt out of Wonder Woman, Supergirl vs. Galatea, Wildcat seemingly killing Green Arrow, etc. You wouldn’t get any of that on Kids WB.

Not to mention, that entire Cadmus storyline, wrapping up with a final fight between the original JL and a Lex Luthor-Brainiac hybrid. :banderas: The Justice League shows were my favorite things to ever come out of the DCAU, even more than B:TAS.

Young Justice has been carrying the torch for the past decade. In my mind, that's one of the very few wins DC has had on Marvel since the birth of the MCU.

Static shock was dope though and Dwayne McDuffie was behind those big Justice League storylines.
