I was going to see it with my girl tonight.

I saw the r rating and thought it might have a chance, plus the cast is pretty solid.

The Psycho remake wasn't good but it was interesting just as a film nerd experiment since Gus Van Sant did a shot for shot remake (with artsy Van Sant flourishes thrown in) and they used the original Psycho script.

Whats it called? Last shot for shot remake i enjoyed was the cabinet of caligari with dude from Hellboy and all those monster movies playing Cesare

oh fair dues but the intense darkness of piper was just savage and was a story in itself. Piper and Sissy had some brilliant exchanges..so will defo see this new rendition!Also loved the teacher from the OG film, she was good.

You pity Julianne Moore's version of Mrs White far more than Piper Laurie's but I thought Laurie's version was better.
