Insignificant posting from an insignificant poster
J. Crew is pretty terrible. Its fairly good for what it is, a mall shop like AE or A&F, but they're trying to fool people into thinking they're more upscale than that. The fit on the men's clothing I've tried on from there were awful, and the prices were too high.

Also, never buy from their factory sales.

Cosign on the button ups. The large shirts are too wide and the medium is too tight (at least for my frame, i stuck to their denim and chaquetas).

There's no happy medium.

Just a miserable variety.

Banana Republic and Express fits way gooder, they got them fitted jawns that hug your curves and crevices. Accentuate that street greek god/thug viking frame. Dig.

whats ur main beef wid em? the fit and price then?

as stated, durig their 20-35% off sales, it'll b harder to find better quality for the price to be honest.

as to the fit, which i guess is a personal preference, ive found their clothes to be almost perfect to be honest. not skin tight, but def fitted and very great for compliments.

and as to them thinkin they are more upscale than they are, i guess that might b true. someone told me they got a head new fashion designer, which would explain for their resurgance, kinda like tom ford wid gucci back int he day, etc.

i really dont care for their "BRand" name, i just buy their stuff cuz i find it pretty good quality, and great fits. :manny:

this

quality has gone down a lot from the 90s. Stole some old shirts from my pops from there that are still in pretty good shape. But nowadays the shyt is too flimsy for them to be chargin what they do

yea their shyt is gap status quality wise and trying to charge a boatload for it but they do have some better designs but then again alot of the fits sucks. the only upside with me at least for now is that i can get 15% off with my university I.D.
