I have to be honest. I was put off at Com talking tough at the end of Sweet, that I dismiss the album after playing it out the first week it was release. Now that the air's crisp, I'm bumping it again and it's dope. No I.D laced the production and Com was spitting gems.

Didn't even know there was a video for this. :wow:

I still throw it in the rotation from time to time. Really underrated Common album. It's also the one that made me respect No I.D. even more.

Heavily underrated.

Threw on Blue Sky at a Barbeque last week in the sunshine surrounded by a few mates. shyt sounded incredible. It's a shame the whole thing will be overlooked due to the Aubrey situation.

I hope Com and Nas used No I.D for future projects. His production sounds so :ahh:

Sweet is pretty much the modern version of

"Commonly, I hear these rats thinking they mahogany
On every rap hook, sounding like a dog to me"

Peep the third verse. Real nikka Quotes is just a better song:yeshrug:

I might have to give it another try on the strength of this thread. When it first dropped and I gave it a listen, it was like listening to paint dry after taking twenty benadryl.
