I was honestly more shocked with San Antonio losing in 6 to OKc like they did. OKC seems like it ran out steam mid series against the Warriors.

It's crazy how quick these series can change. With the suspension and injuries everything just seemed to go the Cavs way after game 4.

LeBron and Kyrie had a lot to do with it, including key contributions from RJ, JR and Triston Thompson.


But I also think some of it had to do with Golden State starting to count their chickens before they hatched....With Klay, even if it was in jest, saying they were better than those 80s Lakers, LeBron being called out by several members of the Warriors organization, media and social media - remember LeBron said during his post-presser that he read ALL social media and watched the Godfather movie.

Golden State's hubris angered the Basketball Gods.
