anyone thought of running a cleaning company

I just started one a few months ago with a few friends. Most of our customers come from google adwords atm. We have been propositioning real estate agents ( Hasn't been too fruitful for us, We may have to switch up our approach and tactics.) and airbnb ( this has gone well). Gotten a few cleaning contracts for some offices and holiday rentals lots, just grinding to get more.
Cleaners are plentiful when it comes to hiring but flexibility is abit hard since many of them are working 2 or more jobs. If you are prepared to do a few jobs then it will make the beginning parts of starting up a whole lot easier. I wasn't able because I was injured but my partners could fill in when cleaners couldn't turn up.

Planning on starting one since I've been doing it professionally for the last 11+ years as a custodial maintenance worker at a high school.
I'm start out with my own and see how that goes.
yeah I'm tryin to figure out something. My normal job I don't get off til like 4pm so if I start one up I could do it at night but figure I might need an employee or two.

the one thing to remember is that...
...youre not in the business of cleaning...but in the marketing of your cleaning services.
The reason most small businesses fail is because they dont focus on sales and marketing..but that is all any business is.
Master that part of your business....and you'll never be poor.
IMO its a great business to get into because it doesnt require much capital to get going.

Damn, alright then. She do businesses like hotels/offices or residential.
Businesses like retail, companies, malls, industrial
she start her own or she get a franchise?
How was it starting out? She have a crew already?
She started advertising on Craigslist about 6 or 7 yrs ago
Residential.
Got a client (indian woman) who referred all her indian family and friends.
My wife would ask random girls if they wanted to go on cleaning jobs w her
She built a website
She contacted a large cleaning corp and inquired about sub contracting
Decided she no longer did residential
Focused on retail and commercial
Got a few local businesses on her own
Landed a big contract a a known company (not gonna mention it here)
She no longer actually cleans herself.
