Anyone used to post or lurk at the (now defunct) Topix - African American forum?

I remember lurking there for a week or so maybe 10 years ago. That was the first time I encountered divestors in the wild. Back then they called themselves BWE (Black Women Empowerment).

Far as I remember

I never really used it heavily

I was in probably middle school or early high school and would google questions about different stuff that would sometimes include it in the results

As bad as we say the coli is, topix was a hundred times worse

It's at least some sensible poster to balance things out here. But topic was just a shyt show all around
