You’re it missing much. On a scale of the Aaliyah movie to Saved by the Bell Movie, I say Aaliyah.

Didn't Bobby rape his younger brother James too. That whole situation was crazy

Movie was bad.

I don't mind the cheap wigs, questionable casting, poor production...I get it's TV One so you can't expect a blockbuster budget.

But the story arc was all over the place. If you went into the film knowing nothing of the Debarge's backstory and Switch, you'd leave probably even more confused. Scenes felt rushed and crammed in. Too many commercials to actual film ratio. Just a poor job overall of telling the story.

Again, I'll excuse certain things like bad sets and stuff cuz TV One isn't some huge company...but I can't excuse a poor story.

Should have been a miniseries.

It'd be great if BET took a stab at it. Or even if a filmmaker or production company took on the story, the DeBarge's story is film worthy.
