It depends. I kinda stand in the middle. I knew men and women who believe molestation as a child led them to being gay.

Then again though, I've seen some young boys whom, to my knowledge, have not been molested and they exhibit very feminine behavior that we typically associate with gay men. I know religous black people believe homosexuality is a spirit that attaches itself to children whom have been molested.

There's no way to know for sure

I have no issue with the LGBT community at all but I would feel like a failure as a father if either of my sons grew up to be gay.

I think you can get people to believe and do anything under the right variables, honestly. If it wasn't possible to program peoples mind to act certain ways marketing wouldn't be as big as it is honestly. And it doesn't have to be just sodomy but anything. That definitely has alot to do with peoples orientation, being a victim of sexual assault at an early age. Same way hyper sexual heterosexual people were usually exposed to sex at an early age (R.Kelly for example). But the majority of lgbt+ are just born that way imo. At the same time, there has been a huge spike in the last 2 generations (Millenials and Gen Z) in self identifying as lgbtq+, so either something is increasing the numbers or there are alot more people in that community than were lead to believe in.
