I like the song but he went back to the children's musical sample well and it wasn't a really good look. Same thing with Busta Rhymes trying to jump on that bandwagon with "Get Out."

i get why you might not like it since it came from the same cloth of the annie sample and all but to say "this ain't even better than beanie sigel's "it's all good now" is just wrong
i liked the lyrics to "it's all good now", i just couldn't get around that beat. it was too carnival and chirpy to me

...But a lot of beats from the 2000's sound like that to me which is why a lot of the music hasn't aged well for me....but Jay definitely got the fact that he had to live up to that Hard Knock Life sample,along with other cats who tried to Annie Sample shyt going against em...it became cheesy to me by the time he got around to trying to use that Annie style sample again...and to be completely honest im probably gon prefer Sigels lyrics on a track like this to Jay 75% of the time....Most of Jays heartfelt shyt I actually don't like that much,people don't understand why I don't really like Song Cry....
