Advanced nations don't engage in traditional warfare with one another.

A perfect cocktail of economic sanctions and foreign investment, technological infiltration, proxy wars and sleeper cells can mitigate the oceans as a buffer.

Drone warfare is not about terrorism but cultural and economic influence, resource drains and fuel for big corporations and growth in the American economy to support our lifestyle. Whether it is immoral is irrelevant as it was not intended to be.

That's not the same as a military force invading the USA and taking away our freedom. So my point still stands.

But I do get what you're saying. But again there is no force in the world that can invade Continental America with a military force that can take away our freedom. The stuff you listed are not taking away our freedom.

Unfortunately he's right. Civilians have always been casualties of in every war in human history. Ironically drone strikes are used to reduce the number of casualties in war. Before drone strikes we use to destroy entire neighborhoods to get to our target . Now not only do we save American soldier lives, but we also minimize civilian damage

I think Chinese hackers grabbing ahold of American technological infrastructure would go a long way in crippling us.

To make my argument more clear for people. To me in my opinion a threat to America's Freedom would mean a nation capable of invading American soil(continental or not) and forcibly taking away everything that America represents such as democracy, free speech, voting rights, second Amendment, private business, women's rights, freedom of religion, capitalism, human rights, child labor right,etc. All the listed and more gone. No more. That's what I personally see threat to American freedom as. So far no nation can do that to us. They can really only do what @Poitier listed.

Regardless what y'all say about America being difficult to invade, it's difficult not impossible. Invasion is possible via South America and Mexico.
