Wasn't SZA's situation the opposite?? She had been trying to release an album for years but it was TDE who wouldn't do it.

At this point they probably don't even give a shyt if her album underperforms and her stock crashes. They probably got other artists they signed they want to focus their energy on. They would prefer their more-productive artists get the attention and deals that Cardi has been getting so far.
