To be fair apples headphones and speakers have been subpar for years, and this acquisition(if implemented correctly) cements their near monopoly on the MP3 player market.

Until I see the strategy its a meh. I just dont see the value of 'beats' outside of as a marketing thing. Might be all they need though.
