If every streaming service has the same music who gives a fukk which one you use?

With the death of the traditional networks and methods of disseminating media, the internet and streaming media is king.

What Apple bout to fukk around and do is use their $$$ and connections to create a 'netflix of music' which doesn't rely on higher quality bitrate or already overpaid artists getting a % of your money...

if they keep a network of personalities, djs, artists and keep the content flowing then they will more than attract subscribers...exclusive documentaries, sets, mixtapes, interviews, videos and all that... cheap to produce and it can be bundled with subscriptions to the streaming service and they will increase market share real quick.

Soon, signing to a record deal will be like signing for Koch, hence why we see more money being thrown around when it comes to signing that "first deal"


Up and coming artist may as well stay inde and eat from the streaming rights( once it really gets big, right now it's in the early stages) , royalties and so forth

REally no need for a big label with how social media is unless you getting a crazy amount of money on some Drake/Wayne shyt..

better to sign to a management company like say QC The Label type of deal and eat off club touring and youtube/streaming

spotify doesn't have anything to maneuver with

their just a service

jay has artists+record label+ live nation, so he is in his own niche

apple owns the music world

google are not really trying to compete+plus they have YouTube,they are more interested in " everyday technology"
