Just replaced my cracked screen on my brand new ipad. Wasn't sure how much it would cost me, but I realized when I got into the store that I had apple care plus on my account. The efiminate apple care genius dude told me my ipad was unsalvagable and therefore would require just $49 to replace.

i think i paid $149 for it. It more than paid for itself today though as the price without it would have been $299 to replace my ipad.

Apple just replaced my 4s cuz the power button started acting up free with no apple cAre 2 weeks ago. They also replace a itouch for free with no AppleCare after my daughter submerged it in the bathtub.
