Apprenticeship Program Assessment - Apprenti

basically..

• complete an online assessment
• some candidates will be invited to train (at no cost) in a given specialty
• Once this short training is complete, the person gets a one year apprecenticeship in a sponsoring company (see list)
• Pay starts at 60% of market value
• Raise at halfway point
• Career placement at end of apprenticeship

....I can see where this might be very attractive to people who need to accelerate their entry into the technology field

****I am not involved with this.. but I am helping a young man who completed the assessment and is waiting for his results
There might be others out there who can benefit
It is merely a specific example of the opportunities and programs that exist

I think I'm going to do the assessment to see how I do . Currently in school for Computer Science but If I can get into Software Development through this I may give it a shot. Maybe do the Apprenticeship year for my resume and then go back to school to finish my degree or part time whIle working
