Nah my main issue is that independents are rarely mentioned if at all on CNN especially when talking about the general election regardless of the fact that 42% of Americans identify as independents yet Hillary is so electable. This is the group the Democratic and Republican nominees would essentially be campaigning for.

Independents are just democrats or republicans that don't want to be labeled. Only something like 6 percent are truly independent. Romney won independents IIRC.

Congrats to Bernie, 6 out of the last 7 is a great run for him. No doubt. But don't get it twisted, The Clintons are still playing Chess here. This isn't a state battle as much as it's a delegate battle. Hillary's blowout wins were in bigger states than Bernie's. The end game is simple, the Clintons know Hillary's Firewall is NY, Penn, Maryland and California. As long as she wins those 4 it's impossible for Bernie to close the gap. Also unlike republican contest all Democratic Primaries are proportional degelate wise so Hillary even in defeat is always picking up delegates.

I think Bernie has proven his message is resonating so if Hillary is the nominee she will have to understand Bernie platform will need to be addressed for Democratic unity. A friend of mine said at the very worst Hillary has to give him the VP spot but I think they want to go younger with that Castro cat that they've been grooming for the last 4 years. Overall after that 5 state sweep from Hillary, Bernie making a slight comeback. The only way to change the story though is he has to beat Hillary in those firewall states I just mentioned. Yes a New York win would be huge Bernie.

I love how much independents are completely ignored in the Republican and Democrat talk on the news when independents consist of 42% of voters.
I love how people act like bernie doesn't deserve shyt because he is an independent running democrat to have a real chance. Same people would be pissed if that 42% of independent voters didn't vote democrat.

What are the Democrats doing for the independents? :troll:

The Clintons are playing chess. :mjlol::russ:

She's running against a avowed "socialist", with a one-note speech, who hasn't been in the Democratic party long enough to get a cup of coffee, who honeymooned in the USSR, a dove in the era of international terrorism, a known strike-breaker, from one of the whitest state in America and she still can't put him away. That's not chess, that's not even checkers.

She's playing Candyland on easy and still can't win decisively.

You're wrong, Define what you mean about "put him away"?

Hillary has never been this transcendent politician and doesn't have a way with words, and she's also part of the establishment because she's been in public life for two decades...

What you said about Bernie is true but it seems you aren't giving him credit. He has a great gift of gab, resonating message and a strong grassroots campaign and most importantly he's raising a LOT of money!

He can't put her away? Even by pledged delegates she's up by a large margin and she only has to play prevent defense, he got swept in the south and 5-0'd last month. Stop acting like they are in a tie. Both have become better politicians though.

Y'all better hope they don't screw Bernie at the Democratic Convention. Because I heard it's gonna be a HUGE riot if they do :merchant:

It won't happen because the goal is to have more pledge delegates than the other person. If Bernie has more pledge delegates than Hillary it would be one thing but he doesn't right now. So when the Supers end up going HIllary's way they will just say "She had more pledged Delegates". Also people clearly forget Hillary won more votes than Obama in the 2008 run and it was eventually the Super Delegates that gave him the nomination. The only Riot that's going to happen is at the GOP convention because the party is clearly in full Anti-Trump mode and they do not want him as the nominee.

So they end up selecting Cruz instead it could split the party with Trump going independent. Bernie already said he won't run for 3rd party if he doesn't get the nomination. Hillary may lose a big percentage of Bernie voters but some will still cross over and vote for her espeically if Trump ends up being the nominee. So again Hillary only goal is to have more pledge delegates than Bernie by the convention. It's the media that keeps showing Hillary "Super Delegate" Totals to make it like Bernie is getting blownout. Bernie is closing the gap for sure but not fast enough.

Wisconsin Delegates:

Bernie - 46
Hillary - 43

+ 3 Bernie

That's not good enough.

We NEED Bernie as the nominee. It's time for a true change :mjcry:

Anyway, I think they will have no choice, but to make Trump the Republican Nominee.
