Abraham Orellana, a hip-hop producer known as AraabMUZIK, was shot on Wednesday and has been hospitalized, the Associated Press is reporting.
Orellanas publicist told Associated Press late Thursday he is currently alive and well after being shot Wednesday night, noting he was in the wrong place at the wrong time while hanging out with friends.
The statement indicated he was in his own neighborhood when he was shot. Orellanas hometown is Providence, R.I.
