Lately, I have not been getting thread reply notifications for a bunch of threads. This used to happen sometimes but now it is happening a lot. Is anyone else having this problem?

Was about to make this same thread. Sometimes I'll stop getting notifications for a thread for what seems like a very long time. Then I'll visit the thread myself and suddenly start getting notifications again. So I end up missing a lot of conversation in the thread because I wasn't getting notified for that period.
Is this normal or is something wrong?
