$35-40 is the sweet spot. My old barber went from $35 to $45 to $60 in one year and had the nerve to text me and asked why I stopped coming. I started going to this Dominican, its no frills but the haircut and beard is always on point for $40 and he doesn't expect a tip. He's Dominican ship so im technically still supporting a black business

That’s how it should be. I don’t like barbers to get popular and start telling you to book appointments on an apps and shiit…

The barbershop here in Santa Monica went from 35, 40 & now 50 without tip. The older cat in Inglewood is 35 straight up, but I gave him at least a seven or eight dollar tip.

TELL ME YA CHEESIN FAM?

I walk around a little edgy already

Barbers are making enough independently to not need to pay for a chair at a shop anymore.

This ain’t about barbers going out of business…

It’s about an evolution in the way barbers do business
Barbers ain't trying to pay for their own spot
