these guys will get traded and abused by some of these owners but they always comeback and help out when their career is over to help these teams out with fundraisers and other events...you dont see that to much with others sports.

That loyalty ain't free. Them cats are all on the payroll as "consultants" and are paid PR shills.

aight for the Braves, after trading tom glavine and greg maddux they're back working with the organization, got ron gant and brian jordan working braves post game show, john smoltz doing play by play some games, javy lopez, Andrés Galarraga, fred mcgriff otis nixon stay out doing camps and autographs for the braves...thats just the ones i can think of off bat, im sure there is more examples

It's hard to be loyal when they try to lowball you for a contract, in any sport. Some sports are different, in European soccer they slap players with money in others they notice you aren't warming up the way you used to. Show love, get love.

they get paid for those post retirement things and its beneficial for them to keep their names out in the public especially where there is support

the whole roundabout concept of loyalty and all that bullshyt in sports is just absurd, its just a job
