Cam has had 1 good season in his career :dahell:

Not just a “good season” but a MVP season and Super Bowl run. nikkas are in the Hall for much less :manny:

Plus he’s the all time rushing TD leader for QBs in just his 7th season, gotten his squad to the post season a few times, etc.

The media STILL hypes Andrew Luck like the second coming of Elway so I don’t know why we can’t say Cam is accomplished

I've always hated how black QBs got so close to winning it all only to fall just short of Super Bowl glory

Gary Anderson misses a field goal in the NFC championship after going perfect all season in 98 to deny Randall's storybook ending

Kevin Dyson is tackled one yard short of the endzone in Super Bowl 34 after McNair makes an incredible play to get them within scoring range

McNabb finally gets some WR help in the form of TO and they go to the Super Bowl only to lose to New England. Now McNabb could've played better but they still had a chance to win if not for some horrible clock management down the stretch. Also the 08 NFC championship where he and the Eagles rallied from a 24-6 deficit to take the lead only to lose to a Cardinal team they had blown out on Thanksgiving

Vick's incredible comeback year in 2010 ended with an interception to Tramon Williams in the Wild Card round. It was a bad throw but Riley KKKooper could've done a better job to prevent the cb from catching that ball

In only his 10th start Kaepernick rallies the 49ers from a 28-6 deficit in Super Bowl 47 to bring them within 5 yards of winning the game, but bad playcalling in the redzone did them in. Can you imagine how different this Kaepernick situation would be looked at if he won that Super Bowl?

Russell Wilson has a chance to cement himself as the most accomplished black QB ever with a second Super Bowl win but is picked off in the endzone on a play where giving Marshawn Lynch the ball was almost a sure touchdown

Cam Newton had the NFL in the palm of his hand in 2015, winning the MVP and looking unstoppable in leading the Panthers to a 15-1 record. Then he and the Panthers play poorly in Super Bowl 50 and he hasn't been the same since

It sucks and allows white folks to run with the stupid narrative that black QBs just can't get it done when it matters most

That's not true though...... its a myth actually... disproportionately, white pocket passing QBs get hurt more....
Id' like to see the numbers on that. And not historical numbers but the numbers from the last 10 or so years. Qb's in general will always get hurt because they're the most susceptible to taking a bad hit considering they always have the ball. The way the rules are today it seems like it'd be much more difficult for a Qb with good awareness to get hurt in the pocket. You can't hit them low or go too high. However once they leave the pocket all bets are off and they can even get hit somewhat late a la Aaron Rodgers.
