Isn't Piru a street?
I do believest said street contained a B set
Perhaps said B set has excelled to the point where their 'label' rivals the B label itself?
I wouldn't say any gang member is that different from another even B vs C
It's so prevalent that y'all forget that gang members are something akin to child soldiers.. on your fukcing block.. and the enemy is everything outside
Feel like i just took a course in rep ya set 101 :SchoolemBrutus:Yup, spot on.
- Piru - A gang with neighborhoods in Compton and Los Angeles.
- Bloods - A gang that sprung from Piru and grew to be a term that unified all the neighborhood gangs against the Crips. Brims became Bloods, Piru became Bloods, and etc.
- Damu - Swahili for Blood.
Is "Hoover" supposed to be the Crip equivalent as "Piru" is to Blood?Yup, spot on.
So in essence...the term Blood is a signifier of alligence and not a specific set. For instance, Tree Top Piru, Bounty Hunter, Denver Lane, Leuder’s Park, and etc are all their own sets but are all apart of the Blood alliance. On the flipside you have Rollin’ 20’s, Rollin’ 60’s, Neighborhood, and more that are all individual gangs that belong to the Crip alliance.
- Piru - A gang with territory in Compton and Los Angeles.
