Its always worth it, just dont buy anything overly powerful. Music will not sound better and you will get a ticket.

Yes, big time. Upgrade your speakers and get your doors sealed and deadened. You won't need a subwoofer to hear the benefits (but it would help a LOT).

um with the right set up it WILL sound better. one of my cars has 14 speakers + a sub and my beater car only has 6 speakers and a sub. BIG difference. and of course you need a powerful enough amp for all the speakers.
