Probably the most under used black actors imo
Absolutely. Output-wise they're Sam L Jackson minus the mainstream white acceptance...
Keith David definitely is. Dude has been consistent for 30 plus years, been in stone cold classics like the thing and they live, lent his voice to classic animation like gargoyles and spawn. And never puts in a bad performance. Even a bit part like what he did in the nice guys is made better just because he’s doing it.
He’s worked with Spielberg, Carpenter, stone, spike, Scorsese, rami, and was the first voice of black panther
Keith on national geographic was straight up ASMR.
There’s something about Mary would’ve been worse without Keith David
Can't forget Clarence Williams III
Idk about Clifton. But Keith definitely is. I finally broke down and started watching greenleaf with my girl and this nikka is flames every episode.
One of the goat deliveries
Keith David got that gritty distinct voice and acting range
Keith Davids voice is up there with Morgan Freemans
Clif is horrible
Keith is classic, and he can sing
Cliff is underrated too.. .His comedic timing is off the charts.... he gave you characters like Cutty and Pinky, which made Friday and Dead Presidents classics... and he was bytch ass Chauncy on top of that....
I don’t think KD is underrated, he’s always working, and I’m sure he’s seen as one of the top VO actors out there.
I think Clifton Powell is right where he’s supposed to be, his body of work is pretty accurate to his talent level, not sure what you cats are seeing
Not to mention he was a character in saints row
