i can't argue the war on drug culture, cus i think it's bullshyt as well. i'm also not saying these people deserve lengthy sentences because the real damage comes from legal drugs like liquor and nicotine.


im strictly talking about the culture of selling weight as a means of income. should they be considered political prisoners?

to be a political prisoner you have to be in prison because of a controversial or dangerous political belief/practice. maybe a drug dealer would argue he is, but being completely objective, hell no. they're just trying to justify selling drugs to people. its almost the same argument for rape "she was asking for it" drug dealer "if not me someone else"

Nah, drug dealers are not political prisoners. More importantly people need to dismiss the notion that only black folks are drug dealers. There seems to be this generalization tha its just us out tthere on the block serving rocks. But more white folks, mexicans and asians sell more dope than black folks.

Most drug dealers ain't thinkin about a damn political agenda or any other progressive collctive goal other than gettin guap!

People sell dope for 1 thing, andthats to make money to survive. Some see it as a last resort, but a lot of MFs who sell dope have other options to make money other than slangin, but they choose otherwise.

Side note: the war on drugs is a fuccin joke. Lockin poor people up for drug offenses is pointless

I'd say most drug dealers are selfish scum bags. They don't care about what their product does to people, they just want to make money.

There is always their argument of "well, if he don't get the drugs from me, he'll get them from someone else so I might as well supply" but that's just rationalizing evil deeds.

Anyway, its a complicated issue and debate but I just think its a shame that so many young people today aspire to be that. They could use their minds for great things but being a "dope boy" is very glamorized these days and I know many young kids that aspire to that. They want to be that, they want that lifestyle.

Funny thing is most people that take that route end up locked up in the span of a couple of years and they pay with most of their life doing hard time. The game is f*cked up and trapping is just that! Its a motherf*cking trap and if u still choose to go down that road knowing the consequences? I can't really feel sorry for you.
