Are Horror films Christian Propaganda?

I just watched Megan is Missing
The acting was terrible, but I do feel like the director's message to teenage girls was clear. That got me thinking. Most horror films have victims that don't necessary deserve their fate, but are committing sins (usually premarital sex, greed, etc) and you almost don't feel sorry for them in the end. This can't just be a coincidence

I saw movies that showed people being hanged during ends times and having their heads chopped off cuz the wouldnt take "the mark of the beast"

The whole point of them is that while everyone likes to paint victims of violence as "innocent", most of the time they really aren't someone that is without fault or blame.

I don't even watch that many horror movies either.

I think you're looking wayyyy too into it.

They do kill off teens that are usually drinking and doing drugs but it has less to do with religious indoctrination and more to do with society in general believing teens should be drug free and abstinent.

They're cautionary tales about morality and actually hold a lot of weight. If you act like xyz, you will fail.
