I had at least two Palmetto Bugs walk right at me after I clearly tried to kill them As soon as they walked towards me I stomped on them hard as fukk...




I was chasing one around trying to kill it and then it got to a point where me and the Bug got into an stare down after a few seconds of standing still it charged at me and I killed it

insects are ruled by the most primitive drives to survive and procreate. they may run when you try and kill them but that doesn't mean they are afraid of death

Their lives are about 7 days long. In that time they gotta be born, go thru puberty, traverse a world full of predators and bug zappers and, ultimately, have babies.

They ain't got time to be reflective n shyt.

LOL, no it doesn't. They're just performing a function that they are capable of performing. Insects react. Theres no self awareness needed.

Edit: Also, if insects were self aware I'm sure they would have developed more complex ways of avoiding being killed by humans than just running under couches.
