Are Millennials donating to their alma matter?

I stay getting letters from the schools I went to. I would’ve had no problem donating if I was anhead who went to school in the 70-80s when school was only $10-20k for a 4 year degree.

But now ost people are graduating with $37k+ in student loan debt and are a getting shytty jobs.Plus rent and inflation is terrible. I paid of all my loans and I still don’t donate.
Do y’all give back?

I do for both of my alma matter as the networking and connections that come from it are well worth the cost.

It should also be noted that you don't have to donate large sums bread. Even just a few dollars a year is enough to keep the alumni emails flowing.

I am in college and would definitely give back in whatever little way i could in terms of support or endorsements, charity especially if its to a good cause like helping folks with their loans or scholarship goes a long way

I get the those too and a barrage of calls about donating. Its actually insane for them to do so with the high ass tuition cost I paid including what you mentioned student loan debt being high

Under 50k. That’s including law school. I donate directly to the programs I’ve benefited from.

If either institutions get rid of those programs, my donating stops.
