Not even close lol. Read some history. A lot of generations had worse breaks. What about the generation that were young adults during the Spanish Flu, fought in WWI, experiences the Great Depression and the destruction of all their wealth and then sent their kids off to die in WWII.

Millennials are in their 30s. Most of us were in highschool or college during the recession. And most importantly we're 90s babies.

That is why I said recent generations. I feel like our generation (along with gen Z) will be the last generation who were able to witness the "Golden Years" (90's and parts of the 2000's). A new normal will be created and the generations after us will simply adapt to their times. However for those of us who knew of a world prior to climate catastrophes, techno-authoritarianism, depression level poverty etc it will be a great decline.
