Not only are museums great for your own knowledge. They are a great place to go with a date or family.

I take my kids and wife to the various museums around the city multiple times per year. Sometimes there are events or special exhibits. The art museum here has live music and drinks some nights in the summer. Great place for a date, or even to meet new people.
