Donald Trump is one of the most roasted presidents in the media. You heard about Chicago with Obama because Obama and the Democrats constantly pushed the gun control narrative and yet Chicago is one of the more violent cities out there and is Obama's own backyard.

It was a plot from the start when they started promoting Chicago as a warzone during a time when violence in the city was on a steady decline it wasn't until the media created this "Chiraq" bullsh*t that the murder rate started to rise again. And of course ignorant Chi Town negros when along with it.

I also don't think it's a conicedense that Chief Keef started to be sought out by labels just when Obama was starting his second term. But overall New Orleans is the real murder capital and there are more non fatal shootings in St Louis per capita than in Chicago.
It's been going down in the NOLA lately I think like last weekend like 20 people were shot. And a news article I was reading said if you scaled that Per capita to a city of Chicago's size it would be the equovolent of 80+ people getting shot

Atl, Ga by way of Alabama
And a lot of nikkas went with that Alt-Right narrative.
Blaming Hip Hop for a city that's been violent since Al Capone was riding around raising hell listening to jazz.
:sas2:

Yep I can't stand that blaming hip hop shyt.

Hip-hop has been an extremely effective tool in the intentional criminalization / demonization of the black image in the mainstream media.

Study "media propaganda". Alot of people get their entire ideas of Chicago and think it needs to be blown to pieces because of violent drill videos and the constant news articles about shootings/killings in the city. That's how "media propaganda" works. Its by design.

While y'all think Chief Keef, Fredo Santana and Lil' Reese was "just entertainment", their images and messages were being used to perpetuate the most negative stereotypes of young black males to a worldwide audience.

If you think what you're reading right now is a "conspiracy theory", study history yourself. "Media propaganda" has been an effective tool to demonize the black image long before hip-hop ever existed:

Hip-hop is simply the newest tool bring used to do it.

Y'all may hate hip-hop being brought up, but its brought up for a very valid reason.

Again, study history and it'll start making sense to you . Study Minstrel Shows, the 1915 film The Birth Of A Nation, and even how Hitler used "media propaganda" leading up to the physical extermination of the Jews.

Also keep in mind who actually controls hip-hop and the major media outlets.

Please open your eyes. How is hip-hop not a MAJOR part of the problem? It's so obvious that it's not even funny, and for people to still deny it is absolutely ridiculous
Explain to me why it's the problem since it's do painfully obvious.

I can respect what you saying here because atleast its well thought out. My biggest thing about it is people were getting killed in chicago at alarming rates before hip hop was even invented. They way you are explaining it still doesn't really have hip hop to blame imo. I think we can all agree the media attempts to portray black men negatively and but that a broad spectrum of things in entertainment. Im not even sure hip hop is the primary way this is done when you consider younger white people are the main ones consuming it not older or middle age white people with all the power.

Hip Hop gives young black kids positive reinforcement to ingauge in criminal acts. It causes you to disregard any second guessing that may cross your mind when committing such acts, it doesn't create the problem but it definitely gives them the extra nudge to do something they otherwise would've shied away from.

And the music has a more potent affect on black kids because they share a racial identity with the rappers and actually live in the same environments and thru the same struggles spoken about in these songs. Lastly back in the day when Chicago was averaging 1000 murders annually the violence was pretty much contained with in the Robert Taylor homes, Cabrini Green, the Calumet buildings and other housing projects. The city tore those structures down so nowadays the murders are lower but the banging is more wide spread and more people are susceptible to stray bullets because the crime isn't quarantined anymore.

The crime rate is down since hip hop came on the scene. You're aware of that, right?

Exactly these issues existed before the advent of hip hop lol.
