Are people really getting money from having their own apps?

Not really.

The whole goal is usually to build up an app platform and leverage its users for ads or subscriptions or some shyt... which takes years sometimes to build organically

The real money in business is always in the good old transaction.

Money exchanged for a product or service or advertisement.

nikkas create apps everyday.... the game too saturated in 2018.

you're better off building an Instagram page and leveraging it for advertising..... and instagram is FREE lol

the real money is also in CODING apps for people's failed projects lol similar to being a paid engineer for rappers who are never gonna make it

This right here. I make an extra few hundred dollars per month doing web design because apparently HTML and CSS is difficult and time consuming for some people :mjlol:

I don't think so, the app store is oversaturated, its hard to make a original app.

Hosting and cloud fees for hosting a database are expensive also, so you need to have a lot of paying members to make a profit.

You should learn coding though, every store or service wants a mobile app in this day and age.
