Nah, but reading is a fundamental skill and reading a lot does make that skill stronger... But what you take in while you read is just as important.

And a lot of people read a lot but still can't comprehend or retain whatever they read.

How do you know what you know? You either have to hear someone tell you or read yourself

If you're super smart like Einstein you can just use your imagination to discover new things

But none of y'all fit that description

So now, even if you listen to 100 YouTube vids, how does that compare with pouring over in detail thousands and thousands of pages on the subject? If you can read, you can research the things that the person who wrote the book researched.

So obviously studying in greater detail gives greater understanding.

But watch people who never read one non fiction book come in here and disagree
