Of course

How do you know what you know? You either have to hear someone tell you or read yourself

If you're super smart like Einstein you can just use your imagination to discover new things

But none of y'all fit that description

So now, even if you listen to 100 YouTube vids, how does that compare with pouring over in detail thousands and thousands of pages on the subject? If you can read, you can research the things that the person who wrote the book researched.

So obviously studying in greater detail gives greater understanding.

But watch people who never read one non fiction book come in here and disagree

HELL
Books are obsolete in 2019.

Fiction is pointless and there is nothing useful you can learn from fiction.

All nonfiction information is available on the Internet.

All religious texts are on the Internet in hundreds of languages, including concordance and study guides.

The Internet can provide audio and visuals to go along with any instructional texts

I agree but I still like physical books but the internet makes it a lot easier.
