Good team but two major flaws. First was always that Darold would eventually turn into the Darnold of old. Darnold has one of the top 3 highest QB ratings on average in the first 3-4 games of a season, for the last few years. The outlier was that instead of falling off after 3-4 games this time, he was pretty good until the very end of the season.

Second is that the Lions put out the blueprint for how to beat Flores' defense over the last two years. They got whooped so bad in that last game in Detroit that all the Rams had to do was replicate the pressure with a better/healthier d-line than we have right now. I'm not sure what the plan is going forward for him. He's not gonna get a head coaching job and if we assume the Vikings face major regression next season - which is likely - it's gonna hurt his chances going forward.
