You can only get to the doorstep so many times before teams start to pass you up..........The 49ers have been close the last 3 years, but if you don't do it, you might not ever do it again. Injuries, suspensions, anything can pop up in the future........

A lot of our key players are still young and Harbaugh has the best start to a coaching career in the sport...really. He's a top 5 coach. They'll retool.
I agree with that, but they're in a bad spot with Kaepernick. He's gonna get paid after next year, if not by the 9ers, by another team. You're either gonna be paying 20% of your cap room to Kaep or looking for a new QB.
