Are the casinos in Philly any good?

I liked Harrahs in New Orleans, Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun in CT, and pretty much every casino in Vegas from the fancy Venetian to the shabby Gold Coast. I've never been to any in Philly though. What are they like? I know the wolves are hungry out there, but I'm cautious. I'd mostly be going for roulette w/ live dealers, maybe some blackjack, and some slots. I'm not even sure if I'd be getting a room in one of them.

They probably beefed up security but both Parx and Live Casino had people kidnapped from the parking lots and robbed, one dude got killed
Rivers Casino had multiple shoot outs or dudes who got shot up somewhere rolling up for help
It's not a weekly thing but just be aware if you feel like somebody trying line you and I wouldn't be chilling in the parking lots at night

Went once to the Golden Nugget, but didn't really have much time/felt rushed. Philly has alot more to offer, so I figure that while I'm out there, there will be more things to do besides checking out casinos.
