Between price hikes and longer runs at the cinema, I think they'll be fine.

There's a ton of movies that are behind schedule right now, as far as being delivered to the public. That leaves a big ass gap for movies that are ready to go to stay at the cineplex when everything gets opened up again.

The studios will just shift their emphasis to home screening if they have to.

Once theaters fully reopen people will want to see movies on the big screen again for different reasons (movie date, hanging out with friends, the mere fact of getting tired of Netflix & chill only for months). Business will return simply like that.
