It's in a major city and you get a bunch of social media influencers to film their workouts there while simultaneously using it for your own content? Cool to workout and be able to get a Chipotle bowl equivalent immediately after. Think he's overestimating his first year returns by a lot though, and he's booking on that 1 year return and not just using that for clicks, he might be fukked though.

Seems risky when there is so much competition in the fitness market.

I'm feeling :flabbynsick: right now because seeing all those mfers enter the gym day 1 with they fukking phones out annoys the shyt out of me.

nikka there to get my reps in and mfers wanna be influencers filming everything all the fukking time. I swear investing in your own equipment for your home is worth its weight in gold man. Not worth dealing with these lames out there now.

i go everyday to a Planet, its honestly not that bad. yea theres some old ppl that dont know what their doing but its a huge facility

you'd have to tap into a market gathering gym rats with expendable income from a 40-50 mile radius, the convience of my planet is its literally 3 mins down the road.

In the grand opening video (a free event) he said 5k showed up, many from out of town. Don't know how he thinks he'll get 10k a month in year 1, from month 1

10k consistent members through a year is a lot to ask. Plus he's opening it in a recession where there's plenty of affordable gyms available.

If he's going for the influencer angle, it won't be long before they start dipping out...whether they prefer a new gym or the sponsorship money decreases. If they stay a lot of their fans will realize there's little to no benefit buzzing around. They won't really gain clout or fitness tips/results from it.

Also the dude's attitude is great for the 'alpha' influencer persona, but terrible for customer service.
