Anyway pikmin seem to be more than willing to help out, it aint like thwy being forced or have no other option. They could easily ignore dude if they wasnt feelin him.

Dont forget that olimar does help em out with killing their main predators. So honestly i see it as more of a non symbiotic relationship (forgot the name where its beneficial to both sides. And to think Biology was one of my good subjects)
