They are rappers. They make money off their music. Their intent is irrelevant. If we're questioning this because they are "Christian" rappers, I don't get it. There are Christians who work regular jobs. There's Christians in every field of entertainment. I'm sure money is a motivation, but if it's their sole motivation, then that's a matter of their conscience and God.

I see what you're saying here, but Rap as a whole deliberately tries to get the Christian fan base. How many rappers have or have done the following:

- Tats of Christian images (crosses, Jesus).

- Jewelry with Christian images (crosses, Jesus pieces)

- album covers and art work with depictions of the crucifixion, the Virgin Mary, Jesus, etc.

- Lyrics and songs with Christian references, metaphors, concepts, and themes

but that true tho. I went to a Apollo style open mic with my homeboy and they were booing EVERYONE (even my homeboy). One of the contestant went on stage and announced he was a "christian artist" before his performance. He was no better than the other acts but got thru with no boos.

Sounds like a hustle if you ask me.
