215 million views in 10 days on the music video

Yet just 5 million on the live video which came out at the same time? Something's not adding up and something tells me these Koreans know how to hack

He's signed to School Boy Records which is Justin Bieber's label, they're unlikely to get involved unless there's big money involved but a big part of his success is his ability to do high numbers. If you remember it took him months to reach the 200 million mark with Gangnam Style, it was already a major sensation by then and eventually the video numbers just started exceed the buzz until it hit a billion around new years and then pop culture cashed in it's chips and that Harlem Shake song took off shortly after.

This Gentleman video did 200 million first week, by next week he'll be at least #1 on the US Rap Charts

He's rap artist, this is charting on the US Rap Charts

music videos>>>>>videos of live music

By that much of a margin when they're released at the same time? 200 million in a week signifies a deep fan base of people across the world. 200 million people in a week means that someone us starving to hear more content from you. 5 million on the live video just doesn't add up, he had the place filled to a 50,000+ capacity. let's say each of those people tell 10 people who all tell 10 people, that's 5,000,000 right there . . but now we factor in world wide numbers and it doesn't add up.

+ all their other artist on that label got 50-60 million plus on their videos. These Koreans must know how to hack YouTube

yo homie be killing me with the :stylin: moves :laff:

He reminds me of a Korean disco version of James Brown, you can tell the way he speaks he places a lot of emphasis on making for a great live show. Being that he's on the same label as Justin Bieber, we're either going to see a major tour or a possible new style of music from Justin Bieber. I've always felt like PSY was testing an experimental sound for a future Justin Bieber record

:leon: You could be onto something. I thought him getting THOSE numbers THAT fast for the Gentleman video was kind of suspect. Yea he's piggy-backing off the success of Gagnam style but generally it wouldnt supersede the previous song.

But then there's the fact that there's no way you can falsify numbers THAT large w/o youtube knowing unless they're in on it.

its possible to see those kind of numbers. its not like its 215 million separate people. A lot of people watch a video they like multiple times a day or week whatever and YouTube does count those.

Gagnam style was huge so I wouldn't be too surprised.

I wouldn't be surprised if YouTube does help inflate views for the celebs though.
